Anushka Sharma Biography

Anushka Sharma is a model, producer and an Indian film actress. She played significant roles in the Hindi films Rab Ne Banadi Jodi, Band Baaja Baraat, Badmaash Company, Patiala House, Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola etc. She first signed a contract with Yash Raj films and it was the beginning of her Bollywood career. Anushka Sharma then made her debut with the film Rab Ne Banadi Jodi which was released in the year 2008. She was nominated for Filmfare Best Actress Award thrice and finally won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for her movie Jab Tak Hain Jaan released in the year 2012.

Anushka Sharma was born on 1 May, 1988 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. She is the daughter of Col. Ajay Kumar Sharma and her mother is house wife. She graduated in arts from Bangalore.
