Deepshikha Nagpal ( now Deepshika Arora ) is a model, Indian television star, film actress and director. She is known for her roles in music videos, Punjabi films, Bollywood movies and TV shows. In Punjab she is mostly known for her Punjabi films with Gurdaas Maan. She worked as a Punjabi film actress in her early days. And she also appeared in Punjabi music videos. One of the popular Punjabi music video song in which Deepshikha appeared is Mai Dardi Rab Rab Kardi sung in the beautiful voice of Daler Mehendi. Deepshikha made her debut in the film Industry with a very minor role in the film Betaaj Badhshah released in the year 1994. She played the character of a girl saved by Arjun. Arjun is the character played by Arjun Balwant Rai in the film. She played small roles in the films Rani Hindustani (1995), Dance Party Poison (1995), Police Station (1997) and finally Koyla (1997). She played the role of Bindya in the movie Koyla. Koyla was a very successful film starring Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Amrish Puri in lead roles. After her role in Koyla and Barsaat Ki Raat (1998) Deepshikha appeared in many films released in the year 1999. Four of her films were released in 1999 including Kahaani Kismat Ki, Janam Samjha Karo, Badshaah and Dillagi. In the movie Badshah she played as Rani, a girl working for the villain, Amrish Puri. Later she appeared in many hit Bollywood films like Partner, Red Swastik and Corporate. In Partner (2007) she played the character Pammi, the sister of Salman Khan. Deepshikha also appeared in some Tamil films and many daily soaps.

Deepshikha married Jeet Upendra in the year 1997. Jeet Upendra is also a actor who works in Malyalam and Hindi films. They had two children. But unfortunately their marriage broke and they got divorced in the year 2007.

In 2011, she gave a try to her direction skills and directed the film Yeh Dooriyan. Yeh Dooriyan was a film of her own. She produced and directed the film. Story and screenplay was also written by her. Unfortunately the film couldn’t perform well and wasn’t much appreciated. Later, in 2012 Deepshikha married Keshav Arora. Keshav Arora was her co actor in the film Yeh Dooriyan.

Deepshikha also worked in many poplar TV shows including Shaktimaan, Son Pari, Shararat, Baa Bahu Aur Baby and Nach Baliye 5. In Nach Baliye 5 she participated with her husband Keshav Arora and finished in 11th place. Deepshika’s current TV shows Baal Veer and Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon are also popular.
