Aishwarya Rai Biography

Aishwarya Rai is a popular Indian film actress and a model. She was the runner up of Miss India pageant and was the winner of Mrs World pageant. She has done many successful films making her a leading actress in Bollywood film industry. Aishwarya Rai received many awards including two IIFA awards, two film fare awards and two screen awards. She made her debut in Bollywood in 1997 with the film Iruvar. In 1998 she did the movie Jeans, which was a great commercial success. Then she acted in Sanjay Leela Bansali’s movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam which led Aishwarya Rai won Best Actress Awards in Film Fare. Also she gathered a wide recognition after her film Devdas released in 2002.

Aishwarya Rai was born on 1 November, 1973 to a Bunt family in Mangalore, Karnataka. Her father was a marine biologist and her mother a housewife. She has a younger brother who works in merchant navy. Aishwarya Rai was religious and moral from her childhood days because of her parents influence. Even her fame continued to grow she lived a rich value based religious life and always respected it.
