Charmi Kaur is a model and Indian film actress. She does South Indian films in Telugu language. Charmi is a established Telugu film star who and has worked in several hit films such as Mass in which she played the character of Priya against Nagarjuna.  The film was released in the year 2004. Another film Gowri (2004) was also a hit and gave her wide recognition. Later her movies Anukokunda Oka Raju and Mantra won her Santosham Best actress Award, CineMAA Award for Best Actress and Nandi Award for Best Actress. After 2004 her career got a boost and now she is a renowned Indian film star.

Charmi Kaur was born in Mumbai, India on 17 May, 1987. She belonged to a Punjabi family. Her father was in business and mother a housewife. She studied in Carmelite Convent School in Mumbai. She made her debut in the Indian Film Industry with her first Telugu film Nee Thodi Kaavali which was released in the year 2002. Interesting thing is she was only thirteen when she did played in the film and moreover she played the role of a housewife in the movie. But unfortunately the film was a flop. But later on she she got a break with her film Gowri as stated above.
