Aas Ka Panchhi was directed by Mohan Kumar and produced by  J. Om Prakash in the year 1961.

The movie stars Rajendra Kumar, Vyjayanthimala and Leela Chitnis in lead roles.The movie is a family drama along with spice of teenage love in the college of arts.Story starts with Rajan Khanna (Rajendra Kumar) alias Raju who lives a wealthy lifestyle alongwith his father named Nihalchand (Nasir Hussain), mother (Leela Chitnis) and a younger sister. He is a student in Arts college wjere he meets his fellow collegian named Neena Bakshi (Vyjayanthimala). Soon both of them fall in love with each other and want to get married. Later he completes his graduation and then his father wans him to join in the same firm in which he is employed without knowing that Rajan has decided something else for him. He has decided to join the military. After listening this, his father opposes him and as a result he also has a heart attack.And thus it continues. Movie is good and enjoyable. The movie was popular among audience.

Music is awesome. It is given by Shankar Jaikishan. Songs are well sung by Lata Mangeshkar, Mukesh and Subir Sen.
