Pakeezah  was directed by Kamal Amrohi in the year 1972.
 
The movie stars Meena Kumari, Raaj Kumar and Ashok Kumar in lead roles. Being directed by Kamal Amrohi, a well known perfectionist the movie has real qualities for success.The movie has a excellent story, action, drama and even some nice songs.This is one of the most beautifully crafted Indian movie that has ever been made.
The music is very melodious and is given by Ghulam Mohammed and Naushad.The songs “chalte chalte” and “chale dildar chalo” are the best songs in my opinion ever been produced and sung in Bollywood.
